Spies Hecker Training Hosted at Waukesha's Auto Paint and Supply

Go Auto Paint, the number one resource for Milwaukee automotive refinishing supplies, is once again hosting Wisconsin-native Bob Pittenger for a Spies Hecker auto paint training event at our Waukesha body shop training facility during May 14-18, 2012. This Milwaukee auto paint training event will focus on the solvent-borne Spies Hecker auto paint products, and Bob will introduce the new waterborne Spies Hecker auto paint products such as the Permahyd ® Hi-TEC Waterborne Base Coat.

The Waukesha Spies Hecker automotive paint training event will consist of two parts:

 Level 2 (3-day class)

Technician Certification – This section covers the proper use of bases/clears auto paint, how to repair raw and primed plastics, the impact of spray gun set-up/booth set-up on paint performance, blending techniques, an introduction to waterborne auto paint products, and more.
OEM Certification Courses – The technical certification for specific OEM warranty repair requirements.
Jobber Technical and Sales Effectiveness – This section is a comprehensive overview of product systems, the best practices for technical support, troubleshooting and blending, and offers a handful of valuable tools, tips, and props.

Level 3 (2-day class)

Color Tinting and Theory – This section covers color theory and movement, use of color tools, and color adjustment.

Advanced Re-Certification – This section covers new technologies, three-stage repairs and other advanced repair techniques, as well as advanced troubleshooting and solutions.

This Waukesha auto paint training event will be the second time nationally certified Spies Hecker trainer Bob Pittenger has joined the Go Auto Paint team for training, offering his industry expertise and knowledge to local area body shops and industrial paint suppliers. Bob has spent more than 20 years in the collision repair industry. He joined DuPont in 1989 as a technical representative and three years later moved to a sales position in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2002, he was appointed as the training manager at the Plymouth, Michigan Spies Hecker training center.
